Dear TMS'ers,
Does anyone know the process to remove myself from the posting?
sending a simple unsubscribe message seems to get reject by the system.
Cheers

Hi,
is there a higher version of ISXC than 6.0.1 and from where can I
download this version.
I'm about to upgrade the Administration Center from version 5.5.0.0
(under Win2003 SP3) to version 6.2 and would like to upgrade the ISC as
well.
Thank you and best regards,
Rainer
TIP is used for Admin Center 6.2. To upgrade Administration Center from
5.5 to 6.2, you can download/install the 6.2 Admin Center directly and TIP
will be installed together with Admin Center.
Selina
Hi Selina,
great, thank you for your information.
Best regards,
Rainer

Does anyone have a suggestion on deleting a screwed-up volume on a 6.1.3.4
server? I have tried all the usual methods, with no success. Any attempt
to get any info from this volume generates this error:

Hi Fred,
Thanks for all the help, I think I figured it out. The link below from Lane was
some help. Basically the appliance I had shipped without the correct locale

Hi Zoltan!
I have seen this behavior too a few months ago. In my case bouncing the
server helped, I could delete the volume afterwards.

We know nothing about your volume; but if it is a primary pool tape, and there
is a current copy storage pool, you could try a Restore Volume and see what
happens (no guarantees here, either). My sense is that you'll have to contact
TSM Support for assistance in resolving this.

Have you tried to enable context messaging to see if you can get more
info on the ANRD messages
set contextmessaging on
Thank you,

That did not work for us. Since this volume became a problem, I patched
the server to 6.1.3.4 and restarted it. Same problem after the
patch/reboot.

There are some references to the errors you are receiving from earlier

Hello All,
I have been tasked with finding out how much inactive data we have for

It sounds like what you need is something like:
dsmc query backup \\netapp\netappshare\ -subdir=yes -inactive
You can use this command to confirm the file space names that are
available:
dsmc query filespace
I would expect you will see a file space name like \\netapp\netappshare

Anyone have a script for tracking the results of BACKUP NAS in the actlog?
