I have added additional volumes in Data Doamin VTL and checked in them by using
next command
checkin libvol library search=yes stat=scr checkl=barcode
After adding volumes I have found all of them from q vol in status Scratch
Volume?: No
As a result, all new volumes are not

Check your Data Domain VTL library has the function Relabel Scratch: Yes
q libr XX f=d

after reclamation except newly defined.

shoudln't you check them in the 1st time with label libvol...?

If you define volumes into a stg pool they get scratch=no and as such wont
return to scratch pool and relabel scratch isn't working on them.
Upd stg maxscatch= number big enough to hold all data plus some and delete
the defined empty ones to get relabel working.
Might want to enable reuse delay,

I have defined all of them into storage pool.
I have removed empty volumes from storage pool and use upd libv library
volume status=scr to make them scratch.
