Hi,
So I was planning to upgrade one of our AIX TSM servers from V6.3.4.0 to
V7.1.1.0. Downloaded the package, extracted it and tried to fire off the
well known command ./install.bin -i console 1st error.
Things change, this has changed to ./install.sh -c. And now the fun starts.

Hi Karel,
When you install Tivoli Storage Manager by using console mode, you will
notice that each offering has a number next to it. If you type in that
number, it will select or unselect the offering.
Thanks to Debbie Hoback of Information Development/TSM who answered this

Hi Angela,
I downloaded the kc.zip file to a Linux server. After unzipping, the /bin
directory doesn't have any .sh files, only .bat files, so I can't
run the kc as a local server.

Does anyone have a bit of script code that evaluates the current hour when
the script is running?
Something like

You can run something like:
select database_name from db where hour(current timestamp)16
The return code will be 0 if the hour is greater than 16 and 11 otherwise.

Hi Bill,
The downloadable IBM Knowledge Center is available for Windows systems. I
do not create the downloadable content so I have requested a Linux version.
I am waiting to hear a response. As soon as I have more information, I'll
