Hi guys! I have an ancient Linux node (RHEL4) running an unsupported (but latest) lin_tape 1.66 and an also unsupported (but latest) TSM 5.5.4. LANfree backup doesn't work anymore, but I can't find the reason why. Since the whole stack is out of support there is no sense in opening a PMR... I

Hi folks, We have a library sharing environment in a STK SL3000. The library is FC connected, as are the drives: 12x HP LTO-6 8x HP LTO-5 The library manager runs RHEL6.6 and TSM 6.3.4.300. There is a library client that ran RHEL5 and TSM 6.3.4.300, and had no problems. Our HBAs are all QLogic

Journal based backup support for Windows 2003

Thomas, The statement about journal based backup not being supported on Windows 2003 servers has been corrected in the 6.2.2 version of the manual. The statement now reads: Journal-based backup can be used for all Windows clients.
