but as a post scheduled command we invoke dsmc inc -subdir=yes
-optfile=dsm2.opt /mountpoint/directory (or something like that syntax)
the dsm2.opt has dfsmountpoint set to no and no domain statements.

remember clearly installing new drivers when we went to lto2). should have
come on a cd with the library / drives. or you can down load
is case sensitive and then don't forget about the whole unicode,
nametype, fsid thing for windows hosts.

A plain q tsa will accomplish that. There's no need to do an
additional q tsa nds.
We have had a small amount of problems with lto to from handling. An
occasional bad tape. Operations on both sides weren't too bad, but the
couriers were brutal. I don't think I have the link any more but IBM does have
doc on tape handling procedures ... ship vertical, rather then
poa:restore/ ?

You can get this on the lcd panel, I would guess under service - library vpd
Haven't gone upstairs, we have configured the web interface and the above is
location in the http gui ...

We're in the same boat ... The emc guys are telling us to use CASBAR
(Content Addressable Storage Backup and Recovery).
If I understand it all it does is extract the data from the centera and put on
a file system of tivoli to pick up.

There is a known problem with the way the gui works, versions and pit.
The gui first searches the directory tree from the top down. The files exist at a pit
but he directory version no longer exists, it can't display that branch of the tree.
