When STA need cartridges, it ask the library manager for it.
The library manager ask the library to mount a tape, then, when it know the
drive where it is mounted, it will check the label of the cartridge, so an

And the TSM Server level too.
Have you compared the libvolumes (element adresses) and the Storewatch list ?

I have servers running the same release of TSM
The lib is loeded with cartridges from the same supplier..
On one server sh slots give good result
Slot 0, status Allocated, element number 1026, barcode

entry for daemon ProLE in /etc/inittab. Modify the entry to read: .../prole -p
tdpr3ora | tdpr3ora64 Admin Assistant server name port

I wish to manage dbbackup media exclusively with drm.
My purpose is, in fact, to manage dbbackup media retention through drm.
When I look at set drmcopy, I can see that it is not possible to set a
value that tell TSM not to manage any of the copy stgpools.
When I look at move drmedia,
don't manage existant copy stg.
