Hi Roger!
Why don't you use a MOVE DATA against r/o volumes? It has a WAIT=YES
parameter and it's better than using the AUDIT VOLUME command.
When you have a read error on a primary pool volume, the audit command
(with FIX=YES) removes the backup data from the tape. Not a problem for
backup data
Hi TSM-ers!
We are struggling with expiration performance and recovery log
utilization for quite some time. I came across flash 21470662

contains almost all symptoms we see on our servers. To check the most

I have seen this behavior too a few months ago. In my case bouncing the

Hi TSM-ers!
One of our servers have database corruptions. An audit of a copy of the
production database restored on our test environment revealed them.
Since we do not know the impact of these errors (can all client data be
restored, can I restore all primary volumes in case of a restore
stgpool?)

You can never delete that volume from Volhist until you have done a new full

Well, not officially. You can issue a del volh type=dbb todate=today force=yes
which deletes all database backup volumes.

Hi Thomas!
From the TSMManager website:
After starting the program you will have 30 days in which to evaluate

So, when there is no license (or the license has expired) you have one

Hi Zoltan!
We were experiencing a lot of logpinning about a month ago which all
seem related to a handful of clients. Investigation showed that nearly
all of them were running with a half-duplex connection instead of a full
duplex fixed rate. As soon as this was fixed by the client owner,

Is a parameter like the DP for SQL's parameter /STRIPes=n also available

I checked the manual, but could not find one...
