Hi, ClientA has B/A client and storage agent installed and can access a tape library that is defined in TSM server. Can this client send local data (on local hard disk) to the tape library using LAN-free method? In other worlds, does the location of client data matter as long as client can access

Thanks David, It storage agent included in TSM server media for the same platform? I am talking about TSM 6.1.

hi i setupped LAN-free comunication and only thing left is defining the paths from storage agent to server, but why do i get this errors/informations that this particular node has 0 storage pools capable of LAN-Free ... ? is this related to the paths ? validate lan-free shows me only DISK pools

LAN-Free currently supports only serial type media, be that tape or FILE device class. DISK is not eligible. Richard Sims
