Folks, Our TS3500 is configured as 2-logical libraries with n-slots configured for each. We just reached the maximum number of cartridges I can load into one of these libraries due to the Max Cartridges value. I want to adjust the 2-logical libraries to shift slots from one to the other. Also

I think you will need to quiesce tape activity and execute "audit library" with "refreshstate=yes" on each of the library managers. Thomas Denier Thomas Jefferson University Zoltan Forray wrote: Our TS3500 is configured as 2-logical libraries with n-slots configured for each. We just reached

We thought we had enough slots defined to each library. Unfortunately, we have grown from 1PB to 2PB total occupancy since the TS3500 was installed. Plus while we have all 3590E06 drives, there are still a fair number of JA tapes, which are lesser capacity than the JB we buy now. Current

>>>It's possible you might need to delete and redefine the library device in the OS Don't think this applies to us this since I never defined the library to the OS in the fist place. With our original ATL/3494, both LM servers used IBM3494 ATL/config process since the connection was IP based.
