In a Win2000/TSM 4.2.1.5 environment with a 3584-LTO
library:
I have a situation where all available (4) tape drives
are writing to four LTO tapes incremental copypool
information. This results in four tapes being sent
off-site with only 1-3% usage and a lot of unnecessary
tape handling.
Is
the maxpr variable in the backup
storagepool
command. For example
ba stg primary pool name copypool name maxpr=1
This will limit the copy operation to using one
drive.
