Dear list,

Variable transformation into the Gaussian space (e.g. nscore transform)
is frequently used when doing geostatistical simulations. There are
however a number of ways to do such gaussian anamorphoses (e.g.
frequency inversion, linear inversion, empirical inversion) and I would
be interested to learn more about the relative advantages and drawbacks
of these methods. Any hints?

Many thanks in advance,

Gregoire
