Dear all,
Happy New Year!
Can we regard n=1 in the case of point kriging?
I think there is a trap in the question: How good is estimation using
kriging system that uses a nugget model?
My understanding is that when the spatial autocorrelation of a variable
behaves like a nugget effect, any
Dear all,
In geochemical investigations, it seems that there is a growing trend to
use a systematic sampling scheme based on a predefined grid system. Here
is the question:
Does such a systematic grid sampling belong to probability sampling or
not?
I have got a comment on this topic:
Dear All,
Thanks for all the replies, based on which we can say that Systematic
grid sampling does belong to probability sampling.
There is a minor condition that the grid is laid down at random which
appears to be a little bit controversial. Generally the grid is laid
down based on the
Dear Gregoire and all,
Thanks for changing the rule! Just in time, the abstract submission for SESEH

is open today.
In SESEH 2012, there is a session “GIS and quantitative methods” which should
