Again today 2009-11-27 update-manager during automatic update want to install

It s along time since i had free time for Lincity-ng :-)
I saw the recent changes, nice.
I still plan to improve water management and new terrain generation,
but not before january. I just fixed the mistakes i did previously,
and re-thought about how to finish the rivers. Currently
I saw that my last commit r1559 included many white space removal.
I m sorry for this, my editor is configured to remove spaces at the
end of a line, and my diff-tool (meld) does not show spaces differences ...
I'll try to avoid this.

kmail cannot sign mails,
no :) (i use xfce4, from xubuntu jaunty upgraded to karmic with update-manager)
but i have selected in xfce4 stufff the 'launch gnome services at startup. I
guess it is supposed to do the right things.
when i launch the daemon (as user) i have the following messages :

i am running xfce 4.6.1 (xubuntu jaunty upgraded to karmic with update-
manager one week ago)
yesterday with xfce mailwatch 1.1.0 i could launch empathy (but still not
connect to gmail due to another bug).
Since this morning upgrade, the bug came back, impossible to launch it.
I have installed

if empathy depends on another package, it should be added in
dependencies, and be sure that the needed applet is launched whatever
the environment is (xfce, gnome, kde )

why not make it a great experience for Karmic ?
maybe its obvious for you that this bug is fix commited or one can
patch it himself, but the bug is still here, and empathy is not usable
