This is not Debian specific. Try rm -rf /opt/openoffice.org1.9.104/help/en/ in
your normal installsets and it *will* crash, be it Debian (using the debs out
of of the buildsystem and the official ones), SuSE 9.3 (rpms from sun),
whatever...
