i use a Griffin Tech iMic on a iBook (G3 700mhz, 128mb ram) running
linux 2.4.20-ben9 and alsa 0.9.6, and i cannot use jack because it
tells that my soundcard don't support one of the two audioformat jack
can use..
i changed the snd_pcm_hw_params_set_format (handle, hw_params,
i have some troubles with an usb-audio device (an imic) on linux ppc
(an ibook2), i think becouse of endianness related troubles..
my big trouble is that jack says:

When is it planned the fix of the usb-audio driver for big endian
machines? I'm refferring particularly to that:
