Interface 3 is the MIDI streaming interface, and
snd_usb_create_mixer() shouldn't find any controls there. I assume
there is a confusion in the usage of mixer-chip_ctrl_if, and the code
there also seems wrong. Can you test whether the attached patch fixes
the problem for you?

[Alsa-user] Are Echo Indigo IOx and DJx supported?

Hello all,

The IOx and DJx cards are not listed on the ALSA sound card list, but I've seen 
them mentioned in the changes log here:  

http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Changes_v1.0.19_v1.0.20

My understanding is that these cards are fairly similar to the Indigo IO and 
Indigo DJ cards.  Do they work in Linux?
