I'm in the process of building HD ready Myth box.
Hw is ASUS P5P800 (i865 + i810 ICH5).
Software is KnoppMyth R5D1 (debain based distro integrated with mythtv)
Kernel is 2.6.17
Alsa is 1.0.12rc1 (reported via alsamixer)
My problem is SPDIF out.
My Hw is working OK - it tested SPDIF out
?
Is anybody was able at all to use AC3 passthrough on nforce4.
Many nice boards for Myth FE are based on this chipset - so it would be nice to
have fully working spdif...
