Hello
I use amanda-server-2.5.1p3 and amanda-client-2.5.1p3 with FreeBSD 6.3.
Today I tried to restore a file from a directory with spaces in the
name. I started amrecover, set host and disk and tried to access my

Here is the information from the email
Hi,
We've been attempting to get AMANDA 2.6.0p2 to work with windows clients for
some
time. Here are errors from amcheck:
ERROR: curdc1.gc.cuny.edu:c: does not support GNUTAR.
You must upgrade amanda on the client to use GNUTAR or you can use another
program.
Hey guys,
How can this (see title) be done?
We need to have a full list of all directories sent to the tape for easy and
quick restore process.
Would a simple `dd if=/dev/nst0 bs=32k skip=1 |/bin/gtar -tvf -` output a
full listing?
Is there a program within amanda to do so?
I know
