Hello,
Thank you for your response.
As far as comments on crispy charts - frankly speaking I have no idea
what is not crisp in current chart. I am looking at AB charts and
they are as crisp as they only can be.
Please explain/show what you mean exactly, because right now I have no idea.

Right Paul, no loops required. I believe
the user was just trying to understand what was happening by using
the loop so I was showing the problem with the loop, which is an easy one to
make. The simple solution is just:
Buy = Cross( MACD(12,26), Signal(9)
);
Better yet, store the T/A

Yes to all of your questions...except I don't know what you mean by test
3 systems at the same time. Three systems are 3 systems. If you want
to take the combined signals of three different systems and then trade
them together, I have already done that.
Compared to Excel it is a lot easier since
Excel is a clunky toolbox compared to AB and while Excel is a great
tool for lots of things, as a platform for system development,
testing, optimization and trading it's not in the same universe. The
same can be said of the differences in graphics capabilities.

Hi,
thanks for your replies.
One more question I forgot; does AB allow you to define what your
total available equity is?
I mean some people like to consider their cash amount + the value of
all open positions as the total equity available, and take a % of that
for each new trade.

Yes. It can do all the things you listed. However,
some advanced stuff like dynamic position sizing based on equity/cash/dd etc
requires good programming skills.
For multiple system simulation, there is no problem
processing all the signals, but dynamic risk control over item/group/system
