I would like to code the formula described is the attached picture.
I tried serveal formulas such as :

Lambda=Optimize(Lambda,0.5,0.1,1,0.05);
Length = Optimize (MML,20,10,30,1);

Hi Walter,
I used a very simple solution to the problem:
1)I have a database of the sp500 stocks plus sp500 index itself (the
sp500 is my benchmark);
2)made 10 sheets available in Amibroker;
3)Make a backtest;
4) in the last sheet, in the automatic analysis window put both

I wanted to say I agree with the others. I don't know how this was criticized
before, but I found it extremely useful and need to have it put back in,
please. While you're at it, if there is a way to get the cursor to show up on
the top level, above any clouds, that would be great too. If

Possibly these tables are messed up.

Hi,
You can save your entire layout by right-clicking on a chart window, for
example. In this way, it is possible to import this particular layout file into
another AmiBroker installation, say, on another partition or hard-disk drive.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Udo
