Hi All,
I understand that the launch took place on time and that all payloads have
been successfully deployed from the launch vehicle.

Hi Folks,
Has anyone got any ideas which sats would be good to listen for this week
end on two metres; we will be doing some antennas tests.
The list I've compiled so far is surprisingly small, eg ISS, Delfi C3.
I dont think UO-11 is audible at present (in eclipse), and I think all of

Hi Jim,
VO-52 is OK with the Dutch transponder on and the corresponding beacon at
145.862 MHz.
Passes late afternoon and evenings (or early mornings).
The frequency may vary 1 to 2 kHz.
2 meter downlink antenna is LHCP.
Good luck and have a nice weekend.

Many thanks Scott/N1AIA and Mika/OH8MBN,
Yes, it was FO-29... I wrote 435.910 for the beacon of FO-29 and this
wrong frequency was leading me to mistake. The JAS-2/FO-29 beacon is very
close to the one of Hope-1.
Thank you again, best 73 !

Was able to hear my carrier thru the Turksat transponder on 17:20 pass at
DN70
Behavior was strange, almost behaved like it wasnt inverting (it is
inverting, correct ?).
SSB did not come through cleanly.
TX/RX offset varied during the pass.
I will be better prepared for 18:49 pass and
Nothing heard on two passes. Not sure as I all I can hear are what I think
are timing sigs from cell towers. They had a direct pass over HC on orbit 7.

Like many, I'm eager to track the new satellites launched over the past

2.) How long before the standard files (amateur.txt, etc) will be

With both RX and TX Doppler shifting, Carrier Downlink shifts upward in

For the digitally challenged-what is the easiest way to input new keps? Use
monosyllabic words..keep it simple for simple people. Been messing around for a
couple of hours ready to heave the computer out the window.

What software are you using? I had issues with Orbitron for a while since I
realized that whenever I updated the keps nothing would actually happen.
Later on I found out that to update the keps you must run Orbitron as the
administrator to update it. Maybe this is relevant to you, maybe not.
Bob,
Welcome to the world of the TLE's that don't work.
Each proggie seems to have it's own flavour. Not all work together.
Try to manually edit the tle's in their appropriate folder.
Then on to modify the .sqf file that I've never had any success doing.
If you're trying to use the turksat TLE,
Nothing heard for four passes here now. Tried all configs. Anyone heard
this bird? This thing ought to scream through the sky. Should hear it with
a whip.
