Juan,
I was on that pass but was unable to work you; I was hoping
for N8RO (FN51) as well, but no joy.
I recorded the entire pass and can send you the sound file.
I need to download it from my recorder.
Maybe on another pass?... :-)

Patrick,
Thank you for the eye-ball at the ARRL Convention, and the
new grid today on SO-50.
Congrats to Drew (KO4MA) for his last grid east of the
Mississippi (same pass -- at least that's what I heard).

My bad... I read the previous post as _last night_ (Thr) at
0347Z, not Wednesday.
There were a couple of us that read it wrong, so we worked
each other instead. :-)
Will look for you tonight (Friday) if the rain holds off. I
am handheld portable as well (Arrow and FT530).

His previous post, where he relates working the amateur
radio equipment (possibly for the first time?) is good as
well.

Bird is directly overhead. Epic fail.
So what did I do wrong? Did I have a de-sense issue because of the crossed

Even if it was wrong, I should have heard CW, right?

Let me ask this another way...
Assuming minimal setup prior to each pass, can I track a LEO with a single
rotor well enough for QSO’s? (single rotor control in one hand, VFO/Doppler on
my other)
