The other day I was using my Yeasue el/az rotator just fine in flip mode
with sat-pc and PST-rotator. Today trouble. In Pst-rotator If I ask for 90
the position bar showed actual 120 and it continues to show about 30
degrees off all the way to 359 where it will stop 30 degrees in advance of

Windows XP and a Windows 7 machine. Both machines are presently out of

west but not return with a call from PSTrotator.
It seemed to get progressively worse and I would have to return the rotator
to east manualy using the manual box. I checked for broken wires from the
rotator to the manual box

Unless we want lightning fast antenna rotation, we're going to need some
sort of gearbox with virtually any motor we're likely to find. We could
gear the drive to a simpler pot as well.
