note from i8CVS
Hi All
It is very sad for me to know that Walter Maxell, W2DU died. I was in touch
with him by email for many years and he was very friendly and plenty of
explanations to me about my transmission lines problems.
I missed a gread friend.
The material published into the W2DU book
polarizations you need two separate
antennas swichable with a coax relay.
In a separate email I have sent to you the best original article on helix
antennas written by Walter Maxell W2DU.
More information on QFH antennas from W2DU are available here:

than any other satellite station
with a similar set-up is potentially able to hear him self and contact
you.
Your set-up using a separate TX and a separate RX seems to be just
it is necessary for a good satellite operation.

On the other side referring T to 140 kelvin instead of 290 kelvin

Since the voltage regulator 7806 often oscillates the only cure is to
solder at the input and output of it a 2,2 microfarad 35 volt tantalum
capacitor in parallel with a 100 kpF 100 volt ceramic capacitor.

The 2 meter section act as a low-pass filter and the 70 cm port as
a high-pass filter while the 50 ohm termination dissipates the
