Is there any way to enable support for iPhone-style 3-button remote control headsets on Android devices? These are the ones that have a button for play/mute, and a pair of volume control buttons. Out-of- the box, this doesn't seem to work, but I wonder if there's a way for applications to obtain low-level enough information from the microphone line or if it's possible to write some sort of driver to do it.
