I'm not using any of the advanced SDK features of the 1.6 or greater
SDK but I was told I should always build with the latest SDK rev.
so is that OK to build and publish to market an app with the 2.2sdk
and expect it to run nicely on the 1.5 devices out there?

I received my Droid from Google as a developer but when I try to
activate it Verizon says its already part of someone else plan and
that I cannot activate it. useless phone to me. and to anyone else.

would it be ok to build a new rev of our app with the 2.0 SDK and put
it on the market now for it to run on all the 1.5/1.6 devices?
is there a direct tie from the SDK to the OS?
if we keep the required SDK level in our app down at the 1.5 level
will we be ok if we don't use any 1.6/2.0 specific
I cant find anywhere how to change the Text COLOR in a webview. I can
change the background color but not the Text.
Any Ideas? I want my webview to be white text on a black background
instead of black text on a white background

is there any way to debug live running apps to see what processes are
taking alot of cpu time? I see the options in DDMS but they are not
really live. I would just like to see what processes took alot of
time so I can dig into the code to optimize it
I need to test the app upgrade functionality of my app before I
publish it on the market for everyone to find and DL. to get the
update code to work I need to know my apps ID number to query
versioncode numbers. how can I publish my app to the market with my
account and get that APP ID number
