In my app I've created and export and import feature which exports
some database files that you can import using the Import feature. It
works but have noticed that when the database is really large it is
really slow(~10 minutes) doing the import.
What I am basically doing in the import is

I have been trying to work with the Camera app from git and when I run it
without _any_ modifications to the code, the menu fonts are wrong and the
menu frame is drawn funky. Here are some screenshots of what I mean:

I'd like to add drag and drop functionality to my app, which means
displaying an image at certain coordinates (which change on each
MotionEvent.ACTION_MOVE) and if possible resizing it dynamically
(like, say, making a card gradually smaller as it is moved from the

I don't have any suggestions but I just wanted to say that
implementing a guitar tuner, even if it may not be possible, is an
excellent idea.
I agree that getting the frequency is the first step and am not sure
this is even possible. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

Using Intent.ACTION_HEADSET_PLUG, my app can be notified when a wired
headset is plugged or unplugged.
But how can it determine whether or not it's plugged in when it starts
