Business Analyst

*CLIENT- CLIENT Healthcare Industry*

*LOCATION – Candidates local to DALLAS TX OR HOUSTON TX*

*EMPLOYEE TYPE – GREENCARD OR US CITIZEN ONLY because this is Contract to
hire*



*POSITION SUMMARY: *

   - At CLIENT, our Business Analyst (BA) is the owner of the assigned
   technology solution(s) in support of the Business Solution Owners (BSO).
   The BA will
   - Coordinate and manage activities related to software applications,
   custom developed and/or off the shelf, including implementation,
   enhancements, maintenances, and customers support
   - Assist the BSO in helping the business partners to leverage technology
   to improve their process
   - Assist the BSO in bringing new functionalities to the business and to
   create the roadmap
   - Assist the BSO in helping the business partners to communicate their
   business needs to the
   - Technology Capabilities Owner (such as development team, DBA team,
   etc.)
   - Assist the BSO in helping the business partners to prioritize the
   business needs to maximize
   - business benefits and minimize time to market.
   - Assist the BSO in helping the business partners to practice agile
   mindset and continuous
   - innovation.



*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):*

*Product development, enhancement and maintenance*

   - Become a subject matter expert and understand the assigned solutions
   - Capture Business Requirements from stakeholders
   - Conduct thorough gap analyses of business processes and provide
   specifications from and
   - results to stakeholders
   - Transform Business Requirements into User Stories for development team
   - Manage backlog Priority for assigned products/technology solutions
   - Ensuring that the product(s) meet(s) stakeholder needs
   - Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CLIENT data requirements
   - Provide thorough rule set implementation specifications to the CLIENT
   development team
   - Assist in Change Control processes and committees
   - Identify, validate, and manage application configuration changes
   - Customer Support:
   - Proactively manage customers’ request
   - Manage Communications with Stake Holders and Organization
   - Proactively identify the need for manual or other workaround processes
   when electronic data
   - processes do not exist or meet CLIENT requirements
   - Monitor assigned applications for issues and coordinate
   resolution/escalation with stakeholder
   - contacts as necessary
   - Identify communication gaps, manage issue escalations, and provide
   support to teams that
   - are balancing competing priorities -
   - Evangelize product and technology solutions; Technology Advocate
   - Maintain and update Product Training documentation for both providers
   and corporate users
   - Aid in communications and update notification
   - Develop and maintain internal and external relationships with
   stakeholders



*REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: No direct reports*

*JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):*

   - Strong working knowledge of Healthcare, Finance and/or Revenue Cycle
   Management processes


   - Experience in Agile and Scrum software development processes
   - Customer-focused verbal and written communication skills
   - Extremely detail oriented, able to analyze large volumes of data
   - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with dynamic
   requirements
   - Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and
   weaknesses of alternative
   - solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
   - Must be self-motivating, able to work with little or no guidance
   - Superb organization, time management, and documentation skills

*EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:*

   - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, IT or
   related filed. Relevant


   - experience will be considered in lieu of education.
   - 3+ (5+ for Senior) years in healthcare as a business analyst -
   - 1+ (3+ for Senior) years working in and leading Agile scum methodology
   - Experience with Microsoft Dev Ops or similar tools
   - Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
   - Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and/or other analytics platforms is
   preferred

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*

   - Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching
   - Must possess sufficient eye-hand coordination/manual dexterity to
   operate a keyboard,


   - photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment
   - Required normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and
   communicate
   - appropriate reports and evaluations.
   - Requires lifting papers and boxes weighing up to 35 pounds occasionally
   - Requires dexterity to type at least 35 wpm.

*WORKING CONDITIONS (environment and safety):*

   - Work performed in office and/or home office environment
   - Involves frequent contact with professional staff and executive level
   stakeholders
   - Work may be stressful at times
   - Interaction with others is frequent and often disruptive
