*Reply ASAP* *Position : Software Test Engineer* *Location : Redmond, WA* *Duration : 6 Months+* *Job Description :* • Top 3 must-have hard skills 1 Software Testing Skills, Manual and Automation Testing including experience in any test frameworks & tools like Selinium, etc. 2 Hardware Testing 3 Reporting and Logging Testing results, able to report back findings 4 Knowledge on Scripting Languages like: • Windows Batch files • VBScript • JavaScript • Perl • Python Execution of prewritten manual test cases and reporting of product anomalies when found. May also run automated test tools and perform analysis of results. Basic computer configuration and/or application compatibility testing. Attention to detail is needed to identify issues. Review test specifications, cases, and automation written by others for coverage and completeness. Improves test quality and effectiveness by working with Development and Program Management to prevent problems and to make the product more testable. Finds holes in test cases. Knowledge of, and experience in, black box software testing principles. Demonstrated ability to define and use common terms and concepts for at least one operating system and environment required. Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of one or more scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Perl Script or Windows batch files) may be required. Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware, debugging, and operating systems preferred. Knowledge of Windows interface guidelines may be required.
