The candidate will work closely with Product owners, Development teams, Architecture Teams, and Infra Team to gather and analyze non-functional requirements of the complex systems in the cloud. This role will be responsible for design, deliver, monitor, and optimize high-performing systems that ensure scalability and minimize performance issues. *Responsibilities:* 1. Ensure quality of micro service applications and cloud infrastructure by validating Performance, Stability, Scalability, Reliability and Resiliency in NextGen solutions 2. Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and shape non-functional requirements and performance of software system micro services 3. Monitor, collect, and analyze resource usage for physical servers, virtual servers, cloud infrastructures, web servers, software application servers, and database servers 4. Develop and execute Load, Stress, Endurance, Soak, Baseline, Benchmark, Volume test scenario 5. Conduct performance tests, analyze test results, and suggest performance improvements in cloud environment 6. Develop and manage the continuous performance validation framework for the continuous deployment process of software applications 7. Analyze software performance issues using Garbage Collection (GC) logs, heap dumps, thread dumps, Database (DB) Analysis Reports, resource usage data, profiling snapshots, and log files 8. Develop Script in *Performance Center / Load Runner and JMeter* 9. Develop pipelines in *CICD using Concourse and Jenkins and integrate with Performance Center and JMeter* 10. Provide recommendations on the Performance test approach and strategy 11. Participate in daily standups and Sprint planning in agile environment 12. Interact with key stakeholders such as development team, architect team, DevOps Team, DBA Team, Product owners for providing the recommendations and for any clarifications/issues 13. Collaborate with Clients, Product Owners, Analysts, Architects to define the non-functional requirements and the cloud infrastructure configurations to meet the business objectives and support the growth of the business 14. Embed in agile process by executing API level tests in the early stage of development (Shift-Left) and certify each build to Production as quality gate 15. Ability to multi-task and adopt to rapidly changing priorities 16. Proven experience in designing and managing robust performance Engineering framework in support of continuous integration and deployment processes for high volume mission-critical applications or platforms *Qualification:* *Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or Master of Science preferred* *Required Skills:* 1. Experience and strong skills in Performance Engineering Testing tools: *Performance Center 12.5X, Load Runner 2022 and JMeter* 2. Experience and skills using various *VUGen protocols such as Web, Web Services, Java VUser, TruClient-web, TruClient-Mobile to develop test scripts* 3. Developing test scripts in *C, Java, and Java script languages for REST API services and SpringBoot Applications* 4. Expert level skills in *JMeter to run test suite in CICD Pipelines* 5. Strong Skills and experience on *monitoring/Diagnostic tools such as Dynatrace and Open source profilers * 6. Experience *in testing MicroServices, J2EE, REST, Single Page Apps, Web, Mobile, Big Data technologies* 7. Experience with *Load balancers, Webservers, Application servers, Database Servers, Operating System, Network Software and Hardware* 8. Experience in *Linux: CPU, Memory, Disk and Network performance analysis and bottlenecks identification* 9. Skills on *Linux OS to troubleshoot and collect performance data* 10. Experience in *Performance metrics of J2EE: GC, Heap Analysis, Java threads* 11. Experience in log analysis using tools such as Splunk 12. Experience in public cloud preferably *AWS cloud and using EC2, S3, ALB, RDS, SQS, SNS, Aurora MySQL/PostgreSQL Database, OpenSearch* *Preferred Skills:* 1.
