*Network Architect* *Cambridge, MA* *6+ Months Contract* *Phone then Face 2 Face (Only Locals - *We are not looking for people to relocate to Boston, rather, folks that you have available that are already in the area*)* Our customer, a leading Infrastructure and Enterprise Applications Service provider, is in need of a NW Architect for an initial 6 month contract opportunity located in Cambridge, MA. The customer is running lean and needs an Architect level resource to support multiple upcoming Data Center related projects. The primary responsibility of this candidate will be to support the design and architecture efforts around Cisco BGP, Nexus route / switch and CheckPoint technologies. Initially the NW Architect will be required to be onsite, with the potential of some remote work down the road. Position Responsibilities: · Lead the design / architecture of projects surrounding the Cisco stack, specifically BGP, Nexus and CheckPoint. Required Skills: · At least 10 years of design / architecture experience with Cisco technologies, specifically BGP, Nexus and CheckPoint. · Layer 3 expert. · Must have at least CCNP certification. · Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
