This workaround does not seem to by working. I am getting the following error from the emulator: *You have typed an incorrect server address or the server requires a protocol version that Email doesn't support.* * * Can anyone suggest what I might be doing wrong? Thanks. On Friday, November

I cannot get this workaround to work. If I tell it to use the m.google.com server I get the error: You typed an incorrect server address or the server requires a protocol version that Email doesn't support. Any suggestions? I really need to test the calendar provider and the emulator won't

As a workaround, you can add your Google account as an activesync account. Use your gmail.com address at first, but you'll need to change the server to be m.google.com when it complains it can't connect. See here: http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=enanswer=138636topic=14299

I am having the same problem. I can add my Google account and I can even sync my emails. I can't see any calendars though. I am trying to use the new calendar API to add an event to my calendar, but I keep being asked to add new calendar. I think there might be a bug. I would be really grateful

Thanks... But without talking the new calendar API. If you want add a contact or see calendar application you must create an account. Ok, so i'm going to create an AVD using Google API. Thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Android Developers group.

Let me know if you are successful at actually adding a Google Account and getting it to work with either the Calendar or People apps. I have been unsuccessful. On Nov 1, 6:25 pm, arnouf arnaud.far...@gmail.com wrote: Thanks... But without talking the new calendar API. If you want add a contact

Well, I booted up the Google API emulator fine. But, in the calendar app, it only has the option of adding an exchange account. I can't see anywhere where it asks for a Google account. On Nov 1, 7:18 pm, Zsolt Vasvari zvasv...@gmail.com wrote: Let me know if you are successful at actually adding

It does for me. You should also be able to add a Google Account is Settings/.Accounts. But then you cannot turn on synching. On Nov 2, 12:27 am, Kumar Bibek coomar@gmail.com wrote: Well, I booted up the Google API emulator fine. But, in the calendar app, it only has the option of adding

Use the Google API image and add a Google account. Though, I can't say I was successful doing that. Actually, I cannot even start a ICS emulator session any more. On Oct 31, 6:02 pm, arnouf arnaud.far...@gmail.com wrote: Hello, Now, in the emulator, to see calendar or add event I have to set

Anyway, I just tried this. I managed to boot the ICS Emulator with the Google API and it lets me add my Google Account, but I cannot manage to turn on synching for the account I just added, so I am getting no data. It is an issue for me, as I cannot test the new Calendar API otherwise. On Nov
