*Position : Siebel Configurator Developer*
*Location : NC*
*Duration : 4+ month contract *
* Description:*
- The Siebel Configurator Developer is in charge of implementing all the
user interface components of the CRM for Public affairs application
including screens, views, applets, links, joins, MVG, pick applets, etc.
- Implement the Siebel IP 16 Contact Module in order to better manage
their relationships with current and new government contacts, as well as
community relations contacts
*Responsibilities:*
- Responsible of implementing all the business rules in the application
using scripting, business rules, run time events, etc
- Responsible for the integration of Siebel IP16 and MS Outlook
- Replace the current method of stringing emails and notes together, and
would allow them to find all messages/notes associated with a contact with
a quick search
- Code, test, and analyzing 2-tier, 3-tier, or N-tier client/server
applications
- Support existing business systems applications
- Consult with business analysts to identify business needs and
appropriate technical solutions
- Design and document technical requirements for business applications
- Assist with the design, development, testing, and documentation of web
sites/pages
- Support production and maintenance of existing applications
- Assist with the development of client business requirements and
preparation of specifications, attend meetings and reply to users with
basic information
- HTML programming and Web page development
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience:
- iWeb design
- Java development for web-based applications
- Web publishing or equivalent experience
- Ability to respond quickly to production environment demands and to
work well within a team environment
- Expert knowledge of Siebel application architecture, Siebel
Configuration, Siebel Scripting, Workflow, EAI, EIM, Web services and
Siebel security
- Experience in Siebel Open UI
- experience with Siebel configuration including Applets, Views,
Screens, Business Components, Joins, Links, PickLists, user properties, etc.
- Experience with Siebel eScripting, business services, workflows, run
time events and personalization
- Well versed in Siebel 8.x Call Center and Sales applications
- Be able to collectively record and manage all contact interactions and
engagements in one central repository
