This appears to happen only on Samsung Galaxy devices, If I have an 
AutoCompleteTextView and I type a letter that does not match anything in 
the backing MatrixCursor, I do not get any dropdown values or completions. 
This is as it should be, if I type a second letter, the first letter is 
deleted from the view and search is done on the second letter I typed as if 
it were the first. I have verified that this behavior does not exist in the 
emulator (Nexus 4 API 22) or on an HTC.

has anyone else seen this behavior?
