Hi Chris, I think playing videos or showing images directly on the browser would be the best solution that we can have right now. I tried modal dialogs, but some devices played it, and other's failed. It was a 50-50 number. So, I would say, showing the videos and images in a separate screen, full screen. And for images also.
For images also, once you click on one image, you would be taken to a separate screen, which would allow you to zoom in and out.
