I am working on an application that requires getting location using GPS. I registered a listener to get GPS location updates. The location manager keeps reporting GPS locations for sometime and then stops reporting according to the updates frequency I requested.
I couldn't understand when the GPS decides to stop reporting. I have written logs for the accuracy of the reported locations and the number of satellites, but I couldn't correlate that with the duration of the GPS being ON. Please, what are the parameters that are affecting this, because I don't want to end up with an application that kills the battery.
