I think the point is that measuring things in percentage increases is of little value when most people are interested in absolute values. Saying an increase of 1000% doesn't tell anyone whether you're getting 10 downloads per day or 1000, and if you're getting 10 things are far less

I've had the same problem, I'm not sure it is any app that is causing it because I did a factory reset on my N1 (gingerbread), wiping everything and my pics and music appear for a day (so I don't think it is the SDCard), then disappear by the next day. This only starting happening with Gingerbread

There are a LOT more ad companies than just AdMob. I don't know what CPC rates are averaging these days, but eCPMs of $3 and more are advertised by several. Just the set supported by AdWhirl should give you a huge variety of eCPMs, and which one is the best changes over time, or so I hear. But

They gave out something like 120 of them in total, and there were a lot more people there than that. I signed up at the LG booth at IO. The people who got the phones were the first 120 people in the door who had proper registrations. The rest got free drinks. Frankly, I got plain lucky. -John
