Hello Android community,

I'm Arnaud FARINE from France. I developped applications for Android,
but I'm writter on a french blog http://www.phoneandroid.fr to promote
Android platform and Android Phone.
Today, Google, HTC, T-Mobile and Deutsch Telekom announced the HTC
Dream Launch. All people was interested by the commercial date and
specification, even if community knew a lot of thing before the
conference.

But I'm in France. HTC Dream G1 should be available the 22th october
2008, in UK in november 2008 and in France, as the rest of Europe,
next year (perhaps in April).

If I want use Android Market I have to propose softwares not tested on
real device, as a lot of Android developers. Is it a good thing? Is it
right?

I know my application doesn't attract judges, but apparently lot of
people (friends or not) told me that I did good softwares.

So please, is it possible to get an hardware device before next year?
Google, T-Mobile and HTC could deliver one device by application. If I
can't use it for phone functionnality it should be better to tests my
app on real device.

I don't know the price for one device without T-Mobile subscription
but I think it's possible for these third companies to make an effort
to help developers who work to develop application for their products.

If somebody hears my call, please do a reply :)

Arnaud
