fI just wanted to illustrate how one would go about
getting it going on a eeepc-like device (call it netbook, mid, fnord or what
have you). There are certainly many things missing (i.e. it's not ready for
prime time).

I want to provide a difference of my repo and apply it to a clean copy.
How is this done? The repo command doesn't appear to support an apply
command. Is this a planned feature, is there another means to do this
easily?
