I had the same problem on my boxer (SL-C860), with a very high frequency - in practice, resume worked maybe 10% of the times. It is much less frequent after upgrading to 2.6.24 (with USB networking backported from 2.6.25). The symptoms were exactly the same - but I am not sure I tried to type letters in.

Well, interesting.... I took the networking hint in your message. It only happens with the wifi card plugged in. If it's not plugged in, it resumes just fine. With it plugged in, it hangs at resume, but if I let it sit there for about a minute, it will resume.....

So, obviously something in the resume is looking to (re)start networking. Since I start networking manually anyway, how do I disable network start on resume?
Here's the log from a resume. Turns out the libertas driver can't load the firmware, so it sits there for about 60 seconds timing out. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I may also add that with 2.6.23 I also had Ximageon and ipaq-sleep consuming something like 60% + 30% of the CPU, does anybody else experience this?

Does it make any sense to go back to 2.6.23 to help sorting out this problem? I am ready to do so if it helps...

I'm trying to sort out a puzzling problem. My spitz (SL-C3100) fails to resume. It comes back to a blinking cursor. I can type and letters appear but nothing happens.

The power button doesn't work either. The only way to get the machine to restart is to pull the battery. It will do a cold boot and startup just fine.

I am running 2007.12. Is anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions on what could be causing this or how to log it so I can figure out which script is broken?
