Thanks for the information.  Are you using Fedora?  That's the only place I've 
seen this build error, but I haven't had time to investigate yet.

If you wouldn't mind please sending me the tarball generated by "make report" 
in a freshly extracted aoe6-85pre1 source tree (same URL as aoe6-84.tar.gz with 
85pre1 instead of 84) I would like to check that out.  Please don't send it to 
the list, as it's an attachment that won't go through.  If you can also include 
the output of aoetools-36/sos-linux, that would be helpful as well.

I might not get to it right away, but I'll try my best to check it out when I 
can make time.
