Exterior paints have fungicides mixed into them which may be harmful to your trees. Curious what you mean by that. I don't paint trunks anymore (no need to here) but before I knew better, I painted trunks in the past. I used exterior paints diluted and undiluted with no observable problems.

Thanks Win, We only have a little over 2 acres so painting it on may make the most sense rather than a dedicated tank and pump. We have been regularly trapping both GPTB and LPTB this year and I have been using Baythroid in my cover sprays for that and a trunk spray of Lorsban in the fall

Pity you guys back East with the humidity and night heat. We are mid 80's -90F here in Western Montana and have 30-40 F temp drops at night with no dew at the moment. 3500 ft elevation with the Rocky Mountain air. I grew up in Florida and do not miss the humid and hot nights. I haven't needed
