Ellen: My observations support your conclusion.. In years with heavy bloom Apogee is not needed and did little to show visible reduction of shoot growth.. We did not have fireblight in that block and so it will be interesting to hear comments about shoot blight infection in heavy versus light crop years.. Mosbah
