It's neat to see place cells in action for an acoustic experiment(2nd half of
the video) rather than a traditional maze. I agree with his speculative
conclusion that the hippocampus produces a manifold where behaviors are like
time-trajectories of place cell activations. Sounds exactly like a sequence of
feature-locations in HTM sensory-motor inference and the Taaken's Theorum
predictive manifolds from Ogma's Feynman Machine paper.
