There is an Ariel guide on their website. Also, we use Ariel 3.4 on Windows XP,

Windows 7 message asks you if you want to re-install Ariel. Select it installed
ok. Another message pop up about the sql engine not be compatible with Windows
7. You just continue installation. Gene
