Hey...I'm new to this list...so please go easy on me.
ARS 7.1 Patch 2
ARSPerl 1.90
ActivePerl-5.8.8.819
Windows 2003
I've been using ARSPerl for quite some time, but mainly the client
functions. I'm writing a script with the intention of taking 2 packing list
names, determining if one of them
( [$packingList], ['packingList'] );

I didn't meant to say that we have a bug here. To me it just looks like the

I always use the ppd file...the latest version I have found with a ppd
published is 1.90. just do a google for arsperl ppd 1.90 and you should
find the same ppd I found last week. Then you can extract that zip file
(including the sub folders)...and then you can use PPM to install.

trying to use the ppd to do the install, but it's reporting ppm install
failed: The PPD does not provide code to install for this platform. I am on
Windows 2003 Enterprise 32-bit and using Perl 5.1.

Could you try upgrading to 1.90 or 1.91 and see if you still have problems?

The way we have handled that here at my company is that each perl script
passes the $SERVER$ as one of the parameters. We have an ini that's read
from each script that uses $SERVER$ as the ini file name which gives us
login, servername, etc

Thilo,
Do you know if there are any plans to put 1.91 in a ppd as well?
