1.2.7(final), where for some (not all) messages, the Win32 Activestate Perl.exe
process will peg 100% CPU for one or two minutes at a time, during which time

Bad news. Using the latest version 1.2.99(9) and with RBL, RWL and URIBL all
deactivated, the
As for ASSP, could it be an option to use the connection IP or the

IP?
It could, but that is not as simple as you may think. If it is so
simple why is a small percentage of servers doing it?
I am thinking quite a while about it, but not because of RBL but
because of Delaying and TLS.

Spam headers are usually forged to prevent easy tracking - so this is not a

The recived header is inserted by any processing mailserver and could

FB hm, if ASSP is running behind an other server or proxy, we have good
FB control and knowledge about the border-ip.
Yes, but than we have to prevent any other server from sending (by
checking the IP or using a Firewall)
Best would be to test the all but the first recieved-header IPs.

ETA of 1.2.7 is now 1.2.2007.
There is only one report with an unresolved problem. This user has
everything in testmode and does not block anything with sender
validation but rather scores only. He sees a lot of sessions left open
in ASSP. Is there asimilar behaviour at somebody, I cannot produce

Not half as confusing as those American dates are to the rest of us! The
correct solution is to use the format mmdd, with whichever separation

I haven't moved to 127(17) yet but 127(12) seems to be working well and the
URIBL is still kicking ass.
I will put 127(17) in place shortly.
