Is there a guide to upgrading to 2.x? I think it's time to bite the bullet
and move up.
I've been running ASSP for a long time. Since at least 2007 if not earlier.

Upgrading to ASSP2 in of itself isn't hard. However, configuring Perl is
a real pain. Make sure you're running at least version 5.12 There is a
script included in ASSP to download all the necessary modules but I've
found it doesn't always work.

it contains all required modules and binaries. Don't forget to read the

Highly recommend new server. You'll run into issues with figuring out
modules etc, but you'll be happy you did it when you are done.

You can use all the files from V1, but run a rebuildspamdb before you go
in to prodution with V2.
it is recommended to:
- install and configure a central database of your choice - setup the main
hashes to use the DB - import all files
- clean all PenaltyBox caches (remove the pbdb folder)
