If you are using a TDM card its also important to use the new tool fxotune. This should help as it will match the fxo card to the line. Hybrid balance will help echo as well and I assume fxotune is helping to balance the line. With a matched hybrids on both ends of a 2 wire interface you will

Hi I'm having a problem with the X100P, where it doesn't detect the caller hanging up before it has answered. The result is that if the caller hangs up just before asterisk answers the line, it still picks up the line and records dialtone in my voice mail. Is there any way to fix this? I'm

What I mean, is that if I pick up the analogue phone connected in parallel with the x100p and blow into the handset, The x100p detects it as ringing and rings the phone connected to the s100u. Also, if I phone asterisk from another phone, and hang up when it is ringing, the s100u phone keeps
