There is no sound on either side of the call, so I guess that
qualifies as
'it
doesnt work for me' :-P
Do you have:
Disallow=All
Allow=GSM
In the section of iax.conf for the user using DIAX ?
Hey, you're right, that helps! But I don't
check both directions
when you do a show channel ... does it show gsm in both ways ?

Hi,

So, there's three places this could fail:
1) The frame that's been passed in is empty.
2) The frame is not GSM
3) The frame is GSM, but it's length is not a multiple of 33.
4) The frame is GSM, but could not be decoded.
My guess is that (2) is your problem, although I've seen a

Dan,
I have been working with the new version and have discovered a strange
issue. When I place a call from a DIAX phone, all seems to generally
work properly. However, calls placed from either of my SIP agents
(Grandstream 101 hardphone and X-PRO softphone) or from the PSTN via
X100P often

Hi,
This is especially true if DIAX has previously received a call, and that
call has been disconnected from the remote end.
I have watched the Gastman (graphical asterisk manager) application, and
my own Call Manager application and both indicate that the system _is_
ringing the DIAX
Third and last question for now: The phonebook used to be in the

it seems to be somewhere else now ??? I'd like to
preprogram other entries in there :-)

Hi,
I have put in a feature request to have TWO
phonebooks paths in the ini file, a global and personal (with
personal
overriding global for duplicate entries) so that you could handle a global
directory and still be able to have personal entries without a LOT of
duplication work.

At first run, you are asked to select the audio devices... one time only..
Then it will be used at each run
Yes, this was clear to me.

However
i think that is a bad idea, atm i have the option to use my screen speakers
for ringing and my headset for the actual audio. My pc speaker sux bigtime
